We at CHAMBARIERE + associates are happy to share with you our new International Private Law Department.
Directed by a Franco-British qualified notary said department offers a new dimension to the traditional practice of notarial law.
Our role / objective is to articulate the various systems of law involved in each case in order to:
- Ensure the protection of your rights and those of your family and/or your business.
- And to provide foreseeable estate planning in respect with your interests and needs abroad.
The role of the notary in the era of globalization justifies this new service, and our fully fluent English team is an essential aspect in an international context.
Who is the department designed for?
This service will address both the foreign clients with interests in France, as the French expatriates or those who have a project abroad.

The International service of CHAMBARIERE + associates aims :
1) To help you set up an estate plan by asserting both your civil and tax needs in the following domaines:
- Family Law
- Real Estate
- Business Law
2) And establish, when necessary a collaboration with legal partners locally based in the countries concerned , to ensure a support on the ground.
Why create this new Department within our office ?
1) The reality of today’s market
The increasing mobility of our clients and the growth of foreign trade have enriched our files during recent years, with more and more international aspects.
This phenomenon will grow with globalization.
2) The special characteristics of international files
The presence of an international factor in our clients situations will lead to a special analysis in which will need to be taken into account the laws of the different countries involved, and the various double tax treaties between the contracting States, etc.
Indeed , in spite of significant advances in some areas, we are far from knowing a harmonization of legal systems across the European Union, as the outer said area.

La réalité du marché actuel
La mobilité croissante de notre clientèle ainsi que la multiplication des échanges avec l’étranger font que nos dossiers se sont enrichis, au cours de ces dernières années, de plus en plus d’aspects internationaux.
Il s’agit là d’un phénomène dont l’ampleur ne cessera de croître avec la mondialisation.
La particularité des dossiers à caractéristiques internationales
La présence d’un aspect international conduira à une analyse toute particulière de votre situation au sein de laquelle il devra être traité tant avec les règles de droit des différents pays en cause, qu’avec les conventions fiscales liant les pays contractants.
En effet, et malgré d’importantes avancées réalisées dans certains domaines, nous sommes loin de connaître une harmonisation des systèmes juridiques au sein de l’Union européenne, comme à l’extérieur de celle-ci.

- de vous assurer une sécurité tendant à la protection de vos droits, ainsi que ceux de votre famille ou de votre entreprise.
- et de répondre à votre préoccupation de prévisibilité au respect de vos intérêts et de vos besoins à l’étranger.
Le rôle du notaire à l’heure de la mondialisation « justifie » ce service si particulier et notre maîtrise de la langue anglaise est un atout indispensable dans un contexte international.

Ce service s’adresse tant à la clientèle étrangère ayant des intérêts en France, qu’à la clientèle française expatriée ou ayant un projet à l’étranger.
